My goal is to reach native Eritreans and friends of Eritrea, so they might know the Eritrean culture, history, politics, language etc. Across the globe, people should know where Eritrea is and what it stands for. About Eritrea Eritrea is a small country situated in north easternEritrea covers an area of about 48,000 square miles (125,000 square kilometres). It has 620 miles (1,000 kilometres) of coastline along the West Coast of the Red Sea and two ports namely, Massawa and Assab. To the North and Northwest, the country borders Sudan, to the South Ethiopia, to the Southwest Djibouti, and to the Southeast the Red Sea. Topographically the country contains a wide range of rugged landscapes: mountains, deserts, highland plateau, lowland plains, and off the coast some 150 coral islands.
